About Pinewoods milkweed

Pinewoods milkweed is a true treasure for your garden. This native wildflower produces lovely clusters of pretty flowers that butterflies absolutely love. If you want to attract monarchs and other pollinators to your yard, this plant does the job beautifully. It's also a host plant for monarch caterpillars, meaning the butterflies will lay their eggs right on your milkweed. Watching those caterpillars grow and transform is pure magic, and you'll feel great knowing you're helping these wonderful creatures thrive.

This perennial herb is wonderfully low-maintenance once it gets settled in. Plant it in a spot where it gets decent sunlight and let it do its thing. Like most native plants, it's tough and doesn't ask for much fussing. You'll enjoy it year after year with very little effort. What a rewarding way to bring nature closer to home!
