About Buckbrush

Buckbrush is a delightful native shrub that brings real charm to any garden. It produces clusters of tiny white flowers that absolutely cover the plant in spring, creating a beautiful display that bees and butterflies can't resist. Birds love the seeds it produces later in the year. It's also wonderfully drought-tolerant once established, which means less watering for you and more time enjoying your garden.

Growing buckbrush is refreshingly simple. It prefers full sun and well-draining soil, and honestly, it's happiest when left mostly alone. Plant it in spring or fall, water it occasionally while it gets settled, and then let it do its thing. This tough little shrub handles poor soil just fine and rarely needs fertilizer or fussing. You'll have years of pretty flowers and happy wildlife with very little effort on your part.
