About Black sage

Black sage is a California native that will make your garden a wildlife haven. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds simply love its small dark flowers that bloom over a long season. The plant has a wonderful aromatic quality too—brush past it and you'll enjoy a pleasant herbal scent. It's naturally tough and doesn't demand much from you, making it perfect for a low-maintenance garden.

This shrub is a true California native, so it thrives in our local climate without fussing. Plant it in a sunny spot with decent drainage and let it settle in. Once established, it needs very little water or fertilizer. It's part of the mint family, so it's naturally pest-resistant. You've really found a winner here.
